Dance Connection
What is a Dance Pathway?
A dance pathway guides you through warm-up, building energy to a peak point, where we then decelerate and relax, before reactivating. This balances the system and allows you to explore movement and eclectic music. The dances allow you to connect to yourself, express and explore, alongside connection with others in the group. Movement vocabulary is built over time. There are no set steps, no dance ability is necessary.

Who does Dance Connection appeal to?
Dance Connection in Bridport has shown to be popular to a diverse group of participants, with differing dance backgrounds, physical abilities, gender, ages, and experience - this shows that it is inclusive in design. From those who have never danced before to teachers of dance, Dance Connection is designed for all.
Over time and commitment the results are very positive in terms of general wellbeing and happiness, capacity to move, connect, and express oneself. It teaches us to partner our body. We feel part of a dance community, and can explore how we show up in our movement and dance.
